Documenta was hard going, very dense curating, some great work though. Munster was much more pragmantic and ordered, even Metzers work felt easy on the eye. It probably helps that you are cycling around the city with the wind in your hair. I liked some of the older work at Munster, especially Michael Ashers Caravan. The sound piece's were good.
Hm, I have seen both shows as well and must say that I preferred the sculpture show in Muenster. I mostly enjoyed Venice though. I am not sure how I liked the work in Kassel. I felt some of it was a bit opinionated and judgemental. I very much enjoyed listening to the interviews with Metzger - wish I had more time. Which work caught your eye at the Documenta?

Hi Steven,
I assume you saw the sculpture show?! How did you like it?
Did you go to Documenta as well?
Biggi
Yes, did both. Quite a site/sight!
