Hello lovely Franko,
I know I have been very quiet a lot of the time... and on other times I have been quite active, but not too often. I am very sorry and I will try to show my commitment in a more obvious way. I know I need to do more blogging and participation in the group activities (unfortunately the hospital appointment and weekend came in between). I want to let the others know as well that I am excited and very serious about the mentoring scheme and that I respect everyone and what they do. I am very much looking forward to our week in March and am already planning some stuff I want to do during that week.
I am struggling in the same way as Kat has written in her most recent blog and our approach to work is very similar, I feel, but I will go more into detail there. My permanent working days are on weekends and last years A/Ls were already used up. Weekends will always be a bit difficult for me... but I'll try my best in the future. I am reading the material you have suggested, have done some filming and am working on some photography. This is all in response to our and Rachel's one2one and they both have given me so much already.
Sometimes, although I try hard, I have difficulties getting myself into the way of thinking of some of the blog messages and need quite a while to squeeze some comment out but I guess that is the idea behind the blog. ;-)
I am a bit of a loner at times (oooooh, me poor thing) so I have a lot to learn in being more outgoing. Feel a bit like a grandma sometimes.
So, all in all, just wanted to say, please don't give up on me. Am working currently behind the scenes and am fully committed and very much looking forward to seeing you and all the others in March. Wouldn't mind meeting up beforehand on an evening in the pub or so...
