why do small things take so long?

SARDINE CAN SCULPTURES
(franko suggested that I make a 1000, i will gladly receive old toy donations which will fit in the cans or other such containers)
one of my work in progress regarding make do and mend.

top - the old hag on the broomstick chased the clown through the snowstorm

middle - bunny flew through the air as the wheels fell off his tricycle

bottom - she looked lovingly at the jack in the box but he was adamant that he was not going to marry her

Hello Peeps,

I had a very interesting Monday as Franko visited Stevenage and my studio. Franko, well done for getting here, I know what it can be like when you first start driving. Thank you for your comments and my mind is still reeling as to what to do next...

the post apocalyptic structures are now most definitely work in progress. images to follow after my holiday.

this brings me to another point...

AN EARLY DATE FOR THE DIARY AS DISCUSSED WITH FRANKO

Our open Studios will be held on the weekend of June 22-24th; Franko & I discussed the possibility for this being my choice of a day out. you can access the Digswell Arts Trust at the following link http://www.chilternweb.co.uk/digswell follow the link for studio Addresses. I'm based at Fairlands Farmhouse, Stevenage. you can also see who the other artists are by clicking on the fellows and their work

it's your shout as to which day to come down, I'll be rooted to the spot all weekend. We have a large garden so plenty of space for picnicking and socialising so I suggest you start planning your hampers...

If you get bored of the farmhouse one can always take a walk through fairlands park and there is a load of other stuff to do around the town, it's a quirky place with plenty of shops/bars etc

hope to see you this Sunday

999 sounds a more sardinesque number. it is a lovely idea. you could put little haiku in some cans and maybe use the keys (are there still keys? probably those pull rings now i bet)
i used to have loads of wee stufff but got rid of it all with my last studio...mind you tiny stuff is everywhere.
see you sunday.
