the odd things you find when google searching

Hi guys,

another insane sleepless night. endless internet reseach or crap tv.
I google searched mine and franko's name and clicked on one of the links that put us both together. this had nothing to do with either of us. From what I can work out, it is to do with martial arts and chinese medicines and therapies. After doing my usual flying scroll through the pages of the PDF file

I Stopped on the following quote...

Only by cultivating a receptive state of mind, without preconceived ideas or thoughts, can one master the secret art of reacting spontaneously and naturally without hesitation and without purposeless resistance.

Weird but feel it fits quite a lot that goes on with our lives and some of the discussions on the blog.

Hope you are all well

Hugs

Jon

the "article " shit to gold is from "a one to one with Franco B" in Zaza'a "a broken record"...obviously a reference to the age old fairy tale theme E.G. rumpilstiltskin. a haknied alchemical image i thought.

hi zaza, just interested in where the comment cam from. I can't remeber the name of the artist who canned his own shit but the artist marc quinn springs to mind as do so many other artists who have sold bodily fluids as artwork. I find the comment interetsing as i try to use recycled materials where i can; folk have purchased a few pieces and I always think to myself that you cam sell them their own crap. And as any good old rag n bone man would have told you in days gone by " Where there's muck... there's brass"

It's interesting the way language can be so misconstrude.

Has master finally called or do you remain bound :)

actually i think really healthy vegetarian shit (well only my own actually), like animal dung, is a very pleasing organic substance!
just said that off the top of my head (how oxymoronic).

so very glad you liked a broken record...i like the pun in the title.

on subject of recycling, it is one of the most valuable things we can
do and in my opinion very beautiful. i love very old tatty materials like when you get an old house and the windows are broken and the old torn stained net curtains flap; or old nicotined walpaper...old flaky paint etc...i used to use old billboard posters in a lot of work...o, i am happy just talking about it all...what about old abandoned wooden chairs too!

All who know me to well hate being out with me, if it's in a skip, hedge, gutter and I think something of it...

it will end up in my collection of thing to do spmething with

I like the thinking about it's history, who where when why

a feeling of wanting to love it again and give it importance
