An installation entitled "21st century plagues"

hi there

the images are from an installation which was craeted last year. I wish the blog allowed video footage as the both come with sound and motion. the work is two pieces

"innocence" (above) is a laminated tissue paper red ribbon embedded with photocopies of childhood and rope, backed by rope lights bound in red plastic with a sound bite (triggered when pressed) of a music box playing happy birthday.

overall dimensions - 100x80x80cms (with plinth draped in bedsheet)

"one flu over" is a goose feather oval construction which is rotated by a motor combined with a slide projection (the next epidemic is near) and a sound bite of ring o ring of roses.

overall space for installation 4 square meters.

This installation was shown last march in the exhibtion betrayed by the senses, the bargehouse, oxo tower wharf southbank, london

the space we used for the exhibtion is fantastic, it would make an excellent venue for a group exhibtion. It's a derelict warehouse on the upper floors.

thought it was about time i put some of my bigger work on the blog, just wish I could get the video piece on here.

let me know what you think and google the bargehouse as an exhibtion venue
