to all last year mentoring group..
on the 25 to the 30 march the second year will spend 5 days at toynbee studio as a residency.. every evening [ monday to thuesday we will like to get toghether with every body from the first year / or last year group to socialize . i hope you will , it couldbe any one at any one time any of the evening or even every evening it will be great to meet up then at the end of a long day, we will eat ad drinking out i assume and some time at my flat ..
, i hope that katherine , racheall , shab, lucille , nina , steven, roxany, madeiline, miranda, evangelia can make it to any of the evening during this week..

Have put it in my diary, so see you there. Also, I'm performing at Vauxhall Tavern on the 30th; if any of you want to come, I'd love the support; it's a stage version of the magic show, so, ooops, got some trepidation about it....xx
This sounds great...i will definitely be there for at least one evening....i might even try to make it to a few...I'll have to become a commuter for a few days i think, which could be interesting.
If I stay in London can anyone put me up for a night?
I can repay hospitality with kind gestures, cleaning....ummm, making you a lovely breakfast very early the next morning?
Lucille, I am toying with the idea of coming down to London on Thursday night for your show, (and rachel and lisa), but just need to look at train times etc, work out somewhere to crash, as I can't take friday off work.....if i can sort something out though, maybe i could bring the skates too?

Will write fully this weekend, been thinking lots and even starting to make something(s)... franko you were right to take a bit of a break and focus on the day job... it felt a bit out of control to take time out, but actually feels much more in control having done it. And needless to say I've been keeping up with the blog.
a few things..
Katherine, yes the marathon training is okay, its taken up a huge amount of headspace, mainly in being terrified of it! But last sunday ran 35k of the full 42k! And still 6 weeks to get to a point where I don't hit the wall of pain with 10k to go... interesting experience, will write more fully.
Shabz... are you still at Toynbee this weekend? Would be great to see you..
Steven.. I was down in falmouth for work a few weeks ago and realised I should have looked you up! and strangely saw your pin up pic on a board at the uni, although now i've forgotton the article... Anyway i'm down again at the end of May, perhaps a Cornish hang out then?
Lucille... sorry haven't made any performances, tho i might make the 30th.. hope the piece is going well. What happens if you do it too much and get good at these tricks?! Anyway I need to get my Wysing film from you, which I think will involve baking a cake?
I should be able to make Monday or Tueday for the residency evenings, and hopefully Friday. I'm away managing a Crafts Council maker's residency myself that week, wish i was doing one not organising one! Love to all xxx

looking forward to seeing folks during that week. I'm a little unclear of exactly which evenings we might attend.... I can definitely do the monday evening. Alas, on the Tues (well, I'm looking forward to it actually...!) I'm seeing film at the film fest. Is the Wed any good?
And, obv, anyone I can harvest for the Friday evening would be brilliant...
Oh, and Mads, yes, I haven't forgotten about the doc of your Wysing performance. Let's meet up (one Saturday?) and put it onto your computer.

Madeleine, I am glad to hear your training is going well- i thin that headspace is quite magical...i can't think of another situation in my life when it comes into play.
thank you to teh offers for a place to stay during the residency week. I think i am going to take teh wed, thurs and friday off work andspend soe time in London...see some exhibitions, write...just be away from work for a few days. And i am looking forward to catching up with those who are around....it seems like a long time ago since i saw anyone/everyone.
Will double check i can take thoose few days off work and then start planning my little adventure!!

Lucille, will definitely be there on 30th. And will bring down teh skates that week....i found them in the loft yesterday, so i will get a photo of them this week i promise and get it on the blog. How did it go last thursday/ My apologies for not making it. I wante dto get down, but i think i was being a bit unreasonable thinking i could stay over night in london and leave again at 5.30 in the morning....i have done t once before, but it nearly killed me....sorry though, it would have been good to be there.
