Hello people,

open studios and stevenage.

23/24th june is the weekend.

fairlands farm,
fairlands way,
stevenage,
SG11NU is the address.

to all of you, rachel had mentioned camping over. this is a possibility although we have to be quiet about it so if your interested in this please call me on my mobile 07747 897429 you never know we could document something for the live art development agency....

directions for people on foot can be found under the comments on a stevenage gathering.

Please let me know or oganise between yourselves what is happening. franko had suggested i believe in february that this was my choice of a day out I posted on the blog over various months.

franko, good luck with moving your work across to italy sorry you can not make the open studios, the research material has given me food for thought, could you ring me regarding a possible visit to your place in july/august.

Hey guys and lovely Jon,
can I just say something???
Can we do stuff during the weekdays too please? I am working on weekends (am full-time employed Thursdays - Mondays) and have only 10 days annual leave left until next March. Weekends are always a huge problem for me...
sniff. :-( It's my responsibility too so I'll post a suggestion.
Sorry, Jon, I am not going to make it. xxxxxxxx

hi there,

Tom, i'm not sure if anyone is driving as i have heard nothing from rachel, nina, or shabz. I don't know if any of them drive. lisa doesn't drive but is getting the train up to stevenage. I hope the new drawings are progressing.

Bigi- keep at it, your art work that is. what you have put on the blog sounds interesting, when my waterworks are sorted out i will be up to view the next happening I hope.

minda, do i need to say anything? good luck with the show. things seem to be spirraling in the right direction for you. shame we clash. and again, once i'm sorted travel wise I wish to see you perform live. have you thought about bringing your work out to the smaller towns/cities I know it would certainly challenge the folk around stevenage.

Hey John, I hope the open studios went well!! I would like to hear all about it!

Sometimes I feel like I'm playing catch up with the spiraling thing, I am not performing now for at least a month, so finally I have a chance to catch my breath!!

Yep I have thought about bringing my work to smaller towns, I am supposed to be doing a performance in Dorset with PVA Labculture (the guys who I did tate with) which would be a whole new experience. They would like the performance to take place outside! I have put this on hold for now as i'm not sure about the outdoors/public spectacle thing!

I have also thought about speaking to artsadmin about doing a very short intimate performance for a select audience at Toynbee, ie my fellow mentees, Franko, LADA, the crew at Artsadmin etc... This is a possibility for later on in the summer maybe? What d'you reckon?

hey minda, good to hear that you have a break in the schedule. give me a call if you get a chance on 07747 897429. it would be good to catch up. I've posted some stills and thje poem from my trial performance. it had some interesting feedback from the general public that weekend. still need to work on a few areas though. was hoping to do the same again to a select audience probably september time. take care for now...
