I'm currently packing, i'm going to india on friday for my uncle's wedding, and i'm back on wednesday, yes that does mean india and back in 5 days! I think this is going to screw me up... Below is also a picture of my and the Halo in all its orange beauty:

Cheers Jacob, I thought about various colours, as fanko and jon will know, but orange was always the one that best fits the piece. The main reason for this is that saffron orange is the colour of the Sikhs, it is heavily associated with Sikh identity and purity, you can see this outside any sikh temple. It also has links to other world religions, Buddhism, Hinduism, Protestant Christianity etc.. Orange also seems like a very eastern colour to me, the colour of India in a way? Red has far too many connotations, for starters it is a heavily political colour, and obviously the notions of sex, anger, blood, fire etc etc would have served to overshadow the halo. I use orange alot in my work, i guess it is a running theme...

yeah i can see that orange works much better than red. It was only a flippant remark about the redlight.

It really is a beautiful image. where are you in the attic? i like it.... it looks like you have floated to the top of the building and are waiting for the roof to open for your assent to the heavens!!
